How to Care for Teak Wood Furniture

The oil that teak wood naturally produces protects the wood, which makes it a popular choice for outdoor furniture. Teak wood is durable and easy to care for. With age, the teak wood will begin to develop a silvery-gray color. This is natural and gives the teak wood its aged look. Teak wood should be cleaned once a year to remove built-up dirt and keep it looking its best. With proper care, teak wood will give you a lifetime of use.
