How to Rent Upholstery Cleaning Equipment

Keeping your upholstery clean can add years to your furniture. While basic maintenance like vacuuming, dusting and spot cleaning can be vital, you will also need to regularly clean your upholstery with a machine designed to deep clean it. Generally, deep cleaning your upholstery every six months to a year will keep it looking fresh and tidy. While you can spend a lot of money buying an upholstery cleaner, the machines can cost thousands of dollars and spend most of their life sitting in your closet. As of 2010, you can rent one for less than $100 for a weekend, allowing you ample time to clean your furniture without the expense or problems of storage.
