How to Freshen Up Upholstery

Over time, upholstery absorbs odors due to frequent use and from pets. Instead of allowing odor to set into the fabric, use gentle fabric cleaners to eliminate odors without harming the upholstery. Your furniture has cleaning codes located on its cleaning tag that indicate how to clean the fabric without causing damage, according to Good Housekeeping.
