How to Clean Candle Wax From Glass

Burning candles in your home creates a warm atmosphere and adds a pleasant scent. Always use a candleholder or tray to hold your candles when burning. Not only do holders and trays enhance your decor, they also protect the surfaces of your furniture. In the event you have an accidental candle wax spill on a glass table or other glass surface, you can clear all traces of the wax away as if the spill never happened.

  • Plastic reclosable bag
  • Plastic putty knife
  • Used dryer sheet

      Fill a plastic reclosable bag with ice. Place the bag on top of the glass surface and over the spilled wax until it hardens.

      Scrape the wax from the glass surface with a plastic putty knife. Take care when scraping away the wax with the putty knife to avoid scratching the glass.

      Wipe the wax residue from the glass with a used dryer sheet. Continue to wipe the glass surface with the sheet until the wax residue disappears and the glass sparkles.
