Combine 1/4 cup of liquid dish detergent with a cup of warm water.
Mix using an electric mixer until dry suds form to the consistency of whipped cream.
Test the mixture on an inconspicuous area of your upholstery. Apply the mixture with a soft brush or cloth.
Scrub the area lightly and allow it to dry. Check for damage to the upholstery. Continue to clean the upholstery if you detect no damage.
Clean small areas of the upholstered surface. Scrub the surface with the solution. Remove dirty suds from the furniture with a rubber spatula as you go.
Repeat the procedure if necessary until you are satisfied that the fabric is clean.
Wet a clean cloth in clear water and wring out the excess water. Wipe the surface of the upholstery with the damp cloth. Rinse the cloth and continue to wipe the surface.
Turn an electric fan on the furniture to speed up the drying. Allow the upholstery to dry thoroughly.
Mix a solution of one cup white vinegar with two cups of food grade linseed oil.
Test the solution on an inconspicuous area of the leather. Apply a small amount of the solution and allow it to dry. Rub with a soft cloth. If there is no damage, proceed with cleaning the rest of the leather.
Apply the solution to the surface of the leather with a white, lint-free cloth.
Spread the solution evenly over the upholstery. Let the solution dry on the leather overnight.
Polish the leather surface with another clean lint-free cloth.
