How to Take Care of Wood Drawers

The drawers in wood dressers and cabinets tend to be overlooked when it comes to cleaning. The front of the drawers may receive a swipe with the dust rag, leaving the inside area untouched. Over time, unclean drawers may leave your clothes smelling musty, while occasional cleaning keep clothes smelling fresh and clean. Remove dust and restore the drawers with an oil preservative to keep wood from drying out and cracking.
