How to Protect Enduro Suede

Enduro suede is not actually leather or suede. Instead, the sofas, loveseats and chairs made with Enduro suede are covered with a kind of microfiber, a soft and resilient fabric that has become quite popular in the furniture industry. Like authentic suede and leather, Enduro suede can be very sensitive to moisture, so it is important to wipe up any spills right away. It is also a good idea to protect your Enduro suede furniture, since that protection can extend its useful life and save you money.

Instructions

    • 1

Vacuum your Enduro suede furnture on a regular basis to remove any surface dust and dirt. As you vacuum, look for any spills or stains you may have missed.

    • 2

Mix a cleaning solution consisting of a cup of cold water and a few drops of a mild dish detergent. Dip a soft cloth in the cleaning solution, then wring it out until it is just damp. Rub the soiled section of the Enduro suede furniture with the cloth, then blow the area dry with a hair dryer.

    • 3

Steam clean your Enduro suede furniture at least once a year to keep it looking like new. That deep cleaning can remove built-up dirt that is hard to get at otherwise, and the treatment can also protect the furniture from further damage.

    • 4

Apply a microfiber protectant to the Enduro suede furniture. Always follow the instructions printed on the protectant, and use only the amount specified on the packaging.
