How Do I Get Dried White Wax Out of Dark Brown Suede?

Although a suede couch looks classy and feels nice to the touch, it can be difficult to clean. To make matters worse, white candle wax can make quite a mess if it spills on a dark brown suede couch. Even if you pick out most of the dried pieces, the wax still leaves a residue on the suede that won't come off with conventional cleaners. Luckily, there is a simple way to lift wax out of suede without any cleaners whatsoever.

• Paper towels
• Iron

     Lay two to three paper towels on top of the white wax.

     Turn the iron on low to medium heat and iron over the wax.

   • 3

     Remove the paper towels as they absorb the melted wax and replace them with new paper towels. Repeat the process until all the wax is soaked up into the paper towels.
