How to Clean a Soda Stain Out of a Microsuede Couch

Things You'll Need

  • Light-colored towel (optional)
  • Spray bottle
  • Solvent-based upholstery cleaner or mild dish soap
  • Light-colored cloth

      Soak up any excess soda with a light-colored towel if needed.

      Fill a spray bottle with water and 1 tsp. mild dish soap or solvent-based upholstery cleaner. Close the spray bottle and shake it to mix the soap and water.

      Spray the microsuede couch with enough cleaner to saturate the stain.

      Wipe the stained area thoroughly with a soft, clean cloth. Allow the microsuede couch to dry for 20 minutes before sitting on it.
