Man-made leather, sometimes referred to as pleather, is a less-expensive alternative to real leather upholstery. Pleather offers the same look, texture and softness, while being easier to maintain and kinder to your wallet. Even though man-made leather is low-maintenance, you still need to care for it properly to maintain its appearance and condition. You can clean and care for your man-made leather upholstery with supplies found around the home. When you make caring for your pleather upholstery a regular part of your cleaning, it can last for years to come.
