How to Get Stains Out of a Leather Couch

With the proper care and maintenance, leather couches can add a luxurious appearance to any home. Leather's smooth surface provides some resistance to spills, stains and pet hair. While it's ideal to clean messes as soon as they happen, it's not always possible. Stains can set in porous leather if the offending substance is left to sit for an extended period of time. It is still possible, however, to remove some stains from your leather couch without calling a professional.
