Instructions

  1. Rubber Golves

    • 1

Put on a pair of rubber household gloves with textured fingers.

    • 2

Wet the gloves. Shake off excess moisture.

    • 3

Scrape the damp glove fingers over the fabric of the sofa. The ridges on the gloves help to dislodge pet hair. Rub into the folds of the fabric to get out hidden hair.

    • 4

Wipe pet hair onto a dry towel as you go.

    Sponge

    • 5

Wet a sponge. Squeeze out excess moisture.

    • 6

Rub the sofa fabric with the dampened sponge, going against the grain of the fabric.

    • 7

Repeat until you have removed as much hair as possible.

    Tape

    • 8

Wrap masking tape around your fingers with the sticky side out.

    • 9

Rub across the surface of the sofa with the exposed tape.

    • 10

Rotate the tape to a clean surface as you pick up hair.

    Brushing

    • 11

Brush over the surface with a rubber bristled brush to loosen pet hair.

    • 12

Attach the upholstery attachment to your vacuum cleaner.

    • 13

Vacuum the sofa to remove the pet hair.
