Tip the sofa so that it will rest on its back. Check the sofa legs to be sure they are screwed into the sofa.
Measure the bottom of the legs.
Position a natural rubber gripper foot over the underside of the leg. Apply a bead of glue between the rubber and leg. Use only a gripper foot that is natural rubber; other rubber mixtures will stain your hardwood floor.
Turn the sofa upright after the pads are well attached. Lift the sofa to place it into the position you desire. Don't push the sofa.
