How to Get Scratches Out of Black Speaker Cabinets

  • Black furniture wax crayon
  • Clean cotton rags
  • Iron
  • Furniture polish

      Fill in the scratch with a black furniture wax crayon purchased at a home improvement store. Rub the crayon along the length of the scratch. Do not attempt to use regular coloring crayons, since they do not remove scratches.

      Place a clean cotton rag on top of the scratch. Press a warm iron onto the rag and move the iron up and down the scratch while applying steady pressure. Remove the iron and rag and let the wax cool for approximately 1 to 2 hours.

      Buff the scratched area with furniture polish and a clean rag.
