How to Get Fingernail Polish Out of Leather Couches

When a bottle of nail polish spills, your leather sofa is the last place you want it to touch. Once it is on the leather, you can wipe it off with water or scrape it up. Water won't remove the paint; scraping the paint can damage the leather. While some people use acetone-based polish removers to clean fingernail polish from leather sofas, consider using a specialty cleaning product called a leather stain remover. It is less likely to damage the finish on your leather.
