Run a vacuum over the microfiber couch regularly to remove all the loose dirt and buildup and to keep the microfiber free of loose debris. Remove the cushions, and vacuum under and around all the seams and stitching.
Brush a lint roller across the microfiber to remove pet hair, lint and other elements that the vacuum does not remove. This works especially well for a quick clean-up when you do not have time to vacuum or if you have pets in the home and constantly have issues with hair buildup on the microfiber.
Spot-clean residue with a damp cleaning rag, and add a few drops of laundry detergent to the rag for heavy buildup. Rub in circular motions over the area to remove buildup until all residue is removed. Rinse the cleaning rag, wring it out, and wipe over the microfiber, then allow the couch to air-dry. Do not use excessive amounts of water or soaking wet rags on the couch, as this excess moisture can soak into the padding and lead to odor and mildew growth.
