Instructions

    • 1

Move the leather couch outside. Allow the couch to air out for as long as possible before bringing it back in.

    • 2

Sprinkle a generous amount of baking soda over the entire surface of the leather couch. The baking soda will absorb the smell of the wood smoke after it is able to rest untouched for 24 hours.

    • 3

Vacuum all the baking soda off the leather couch using the attachment hose.

    • 4

Add 1 tsp. of pure vanilla extract into a plastic spray bottle along with 1 cup of water. Shake to mix, and mist the entire surface of the leather couch. The pure vanilla extract has a subtle, sweet scent that will cover up any excess wood smoke odor until it fades away on its own.

Rub the leather couch down with a soft cloth to absorb all excess moisture.
