Scratches

  Moisten the scratches with one to two drops of distilled water. Add just enough water so the scratches are damp. Adding too much water may leave water spots on the leather upholstery.

  Rub the scratches with a chamois -- soft, leather cloth -- in a gentle circular motion. Keep rubbing until the scratches are no longer visible. Continue with the remaining step if the scratches are still present.

  Apply two drops of olive oil to a soft cloth and buff the scratches out of the upholstery. Clean and condition the leather as you normally would.

Ink Stains

  Dampen a cotton ball in rubbing alcohol so the cotton ball is damp not soggy.

  Rub the ink stains with the damp cotton ball in a circular motion. Replace the soiled cotton ball with a fresh one. Dip the clean cotton ball in the rubbing alcohol and continue rubbing until you have removed the ink.

  Wipe the rubbing alcohol off the leather upholstery with a lint-free cloth, dampened with cool water.

  Clean and buff the leather furniture with leather cleaner and conditioner as you normally would.

Rips

  Remove any threads hanging from the damaged leather with a pair of scissors. Add one to two drops of rubbing alcohol to a lint-free cloth. Clean the damaged area with the damp cloth and let air-dry.

  Spread an even layer of the repair compound smoothly over the damaged area. Spread the repair compound 1/2 inch past the ripped leather. Let the compound dry.

  Dampen a lint-free cloth with rubbing alcohol and rub the compound until smooth. Let the compound dry once again before continuing.

  Brush the clear coat onto the repair compound. Several applications may be required to achieve the desired results. Let the leather dry for several hours.

  Clean and buff the leather upholstery as you normally would.
