Microfiber suede, or microsuede, is made from polyester fibers. The finely split fibers are formed into a fabric that mimics natural suede. Microsuede upholstery resists stains and absorption, and it only requires basic spot cleaning to keep it looking fresh. Vacuum your microsuede upholstery regularly to prevent dirt and debris from setting deep into the fibers and ruining the look of your furniture. With the proper care, you can keep your microsuede furniture looking its best.
Vacuum the microsuede upholstery with a brush attachment to remove any loose dirt.
Fill a container with 2 cups warm water and 2 or 3 drops mild dish-washing soap.
Dip a cloth into the solution and wring it out. Dab and blot any stains or spills on the microsuede.
Blot the damp microsuede with a clean towel to remove any excess moisture. Allow the microsuede to air-dry completely.
Brush the dry microsuede with a soft-bristled brush to restore softness.
