Dyson Mini Turbo Directions

Dyson offers various accessories for its vacuum cleaners. Generally these accessories enable you to access tight or difficult-to-reach areas. These areas may include stairs, baseboards and the undersides of furniture. Your Dyson Mini Turbo replicates the brush bar found beneath your vacuum, except that it's more compact and can be maneuvered with greater ease. Learn to use this clever accessory for more effective cleaning.

  Push back the cap on the end of the Dyson vacuum wand. This wand is the metal extension tucked away inside the flexible plastic hose on the back of the vacuum cleaner.

  Pull the wand up, away from the hose, as far as it will extend.

  Determine whether you want to attach the mini turbo tool to the wand or to the hose. The wand offers greater reach, but the hose may provide greater maneuverability. If attaching the mini turbo tool to the hose, press the hose release buttons near the base of the wand handle, and separate the hose from the wand.

  Twist the mini turbo tool onto the end of the wand or hose. If using the wand, press the wand-release button on the front of the wand handle, and detach the wand from the Dyson vacuum.

  Plug in the vacuum and press the power button. Direct the mini turbo tool as needed. Use the tool to remove hair and other small debris from confined spaces and upholstery.

  Switch off the Dyson vacuum prior to removing the mini turbo tool from the wand or hose. Slide the tool off the end of the wand or hose. Use a twisting action to remove, if necessary.
