Directions for the Use of a Dyson Mini Animal Turbine

Plug the Dyson Animal into a nearby power outlet. Turn the main power switch to "On."

Hold the vacuum wand and push the vacuum head in a back and forth motion over the carpet surface to be cleaned, creating overlapping sections.

Turn off and unplug the vacuum when finished. Push the release button on top of the clear bin to lift the bin off the main body of the vacuum. Push the red button on the bin to open and empty the dirt into a waste bin. Wipe the empty bin with a clean cloth and replace on the vacuum.

Turn the plastic lock on the side of the vacuum counterclockwise to release the filter, which is located on the rear of the canister. Use a coin to help turn the lock, if necessary. Lift out the filter and rinse with cold water. Squeeze gently to remove excess water and set aside to dry. Allow at least 24 hours for proper drying before replacing the filter back into the vacuum. Turn the lock on the side of the vacuum clockwise to secure.

Check the hose, nozzle and brush bar for possible obstructions if the vacuum has poor suction during use. Disconnect power before removing any blockages.
