Flat-top stoves add a sophisticated touch to any kitchen. Unlike coil or gas ranges with removable parts, the smooth, shiny surface allows for quick cleanup after cooking. On the downside, black flat-top stoves show grease, food residue and fingerprints more than any other color. Glass cooktop cleaners are the best products to use on flat-top stoves because they remove tough food residue without damaging the shiny surface.
