Plug the power cord into the side of the Scooba and into a power outlet. When the indicator light changes to solid green the battery is fully charged.
Set the virtual walls in the doorway or place the Scooba in the room where it should not pass, facing towards the room it will be cleaning. Press the button on top of the virtual wall to turn it on.
Disconnect the Scooba from the power outlet. Press the lever on top to remove the cleaning tank. Slide the tank out of the base and use the measuring cup to pour Scooba brand cleaning formula into the tank. White vinegar can also be used in lieu of cleaning solution. Fill the remainder of the tank with clean, warm water.
Push the cap closed and slide the tank back into the Scooba, until an audible click is heard.
Set the Scooba on the floor and press the power and the clean buttons. The robot will automatically move across the floor, setting down a path of cleaning solution.
Press the power button again, when cleaning is complete or the battery is empty. Remove the cleaning tank and rinse it with warm water.
Lift the filter out, from the side of the water tank and rinse it with water. Push the cleaning head out from the other side of the cleaning tank, and rinse the brush and cleaning head with warm water.
Pull out the vacuum port, which is a small U-shaped lever on the right side of the water tank. Rinse it with warm water and reassemble the Scooba.
