How to Work a Euro-Pro Vacuum

Turn the knob on the front of the Euro-Pro vacuum to adjust the carpet height setting. Set the dial to the lowest setting and adjust as necessary until the vacuum is easy to maneuver across the carpet.

Unwind the power cord from the back of the vacuum and plug it into a power outlet.

Turn the vacuum cleaner power switch to the "On" position and push the device in even, overlapping sections across the floor to be cleaned.

Turn the power switch to "Off" and unplug the vacuum from the power outlet. Wind the cord back onto the hook on the rear of the unit.

Push down on the release lever on top of the dirt container and hold the dirt cup over a trash can. Push on the release button, which is located on the back of the dirt container, to empty the dirt cup.

Turn the lid of the dirt cup counterclockwise to separate the filter from the unit. Tap the filter over a trash can to remove any excess dirt or debris. Wash the filter and the filter ring under clean, cold water if necessary, and let it air-dry for 24 hours before you reinstall the dirt cup.

Remove the secondary filters from under the dirt cup container in the main unit. Rinse the filters in lukewarm water and let them air-dry for 24 hours before replacing them in the vacuum.
