How to Use a Hoover S3592

The Hoover Duros S3592 is a canister-style vacuum cleaner with a power nozzle, large wheels, tool lid, cord rewind pedal, headlight, tools and an easy-access filter door. Sold online and in many home retail, appliance or department stores, the Duros comes with a limited warranty and should operate well with standard cleaning, maintenance and care. Using the vacuum is fairly straightforward but should not be done by young children due to the use of electricity and suction.

  Plug the Duros vacuum cleaner into a working power outlet. Step on the power pedal, located on the canister base, to turn the vacuum "On."

  Lower the handle by stepping on the power nozzle and pulling down on the handle.

  Step on the "Rug/Floor" indicator to select whether the cleaning surface is a carpet or a bare floor.

  Move the vacuum head over the carpet surface to be cleaned, making overlapping sections.

  Adjust the suction level by sliding the control lever towards "Min" for less suction or "Max" for more.

  Step on the power pedal to turn the vacuum "Off."

  Open the filter door by pressing down on the latch on top of the door. Open the filter door, remove the filter bag and press on the clamp to separate the old bag from the filter frame. Connect the tabs on the new filter bag with the filter frame and slide into the filter door. Close the filter door.
