Cleaning Instructions for a Bissell Powertrack Revolution

The Bissell Powertrak Revolution vacuum cleaner offers a clean carpet sensor, upholstery and attachment tools, wide cleaning path, furniture protection guard, headlight, long power cord and a turbo brush system. The carpet cleaner is sold in many home retail, department and appliance stores -- as well as online -- and should operate well with normal care, maintenance and cleaning. Using the Powertrak cleaner is fairly simple, but should only be done by adults, due to the weight of the vacuum and the use of electricity.

  Turn the height adjustment knob to the appropriate setting for the floor to be cleaned. Use the lowest setting for hard floors, medium for most carpets, and the highest setting for thick or high-pile carpets.

  Plug the power cord into a working electrical outlet. Press the pedal on the base to lower the handle into the cleaning position. Turn the Powertrak cleaner on.

  Turn off and unplug the Powertrak from the power outlet. Push the "Lock 'n Seal" lever to unlock to remove the dirt container.

  Empty the dirt container in a waste bin and replace the container on the vacuum. Push the lever to lock.

  Take the Twist 'n Snap Hose off of the main base of the vacuum cleaner, by turning it counterclockwise. Wipe the clear lens with a clean, soft damp cloth and allow the lens to dry. Reattach the hose.

  Store the Bissell in a cool, dry place.
