How to Troubleshoot a Robotic Vacuum P4920

The P3 Robotic Vacuum P4920 is a programmable robot designed to clean carpets and hard floors. The vacuum can move in several directions, including a random pattern, spiral circle or along walls and can be used in any size room. The battery on the vacuum can be connected to a power charger and the vacuum is quiet during operation. While the P3 vacuum is generally straightforward to use and operate, questions or problems may occasionally arise. Troubleshooting the robot can help users resolve the issue.

Instructions

    • 1

Connect the P3 robotic vacuum to the power cord and plug the power cord into a working outlet if the robot does not function. Charge the robot for up to 24 hours or until the indicator light turns green. Replace the batteries in the battery compartment with two AA batteries if necessary.

    • 2

Lift up and turn over the robot if the vacuum is properly charged but is not moving or cleaning as expected. Clean the wheels with a damp cloth and remove any debris that may be causing an obstruction. Push the wheels in lightly to ensure proper motion.

    • 3

Open the top lid and remove the dust bin if the robot is not suctioning up dirt or debris as expected. Empty the dirt bin over a waste bin and return to the vacuum. Use a clean cloth to clean the air intake, located in the bottom center of the vacuum.

    • 4

Lift the filter out of the dust bin if there is poor suction but the dirt bin is empty. Clean the filter with an old toothbrush and water. Set the filter aside to dry for several hours, preferably overnight, before returning to position.
