How to Get Other Dyson Attachments to Fit My Dyson DC25 Animal Ball

The Dyson DC25 Animal is a ball-style upright vacuum cleaner, meaning that it sits on top of a pivoting ball instead of wheels on the base. The vacuum also uses cyclone technology to suction dirt and debris from carpet surfaces, spins the material out of the air and into the vacuum dust compartment and sends the cleaned air back out of the vacuum. The Animal vacuum cleaner includes several tools and can work with other Dyson attachments as well. Connecting attachments to the Dyson DC25 is fairly simple.

     Turn the Dyson DC25 "Off" and set the handle upright.

     Open the cap on the wand to release the wand from the vacuum cleaner.

     Pull out on the red tube to release the wand fully.

   • 4

     Attach the Dyson tool to either the hose or the wand, pushing and rotating slightly until it clicks into position.

   • 5

     Turn the Dyson vacuum back "On" and use the tool as desired.
