      Disconnect the power cord and turn off the Fuller vacuum cleaner.

      Press the release button on top of the dirt cup on the main body of the vacuum. Pull out the dirt container and empty it into a waste container.

      Locate the filter housing beneath the location of the dirt container. Lift up on the filter housing to remove it.

      Tap the filter over a waste container and rinse it with water to clean. Set the filter aside to air dry completely, then reattach it to the housing.

      Set the filter housing back into position and place the dirt cup back into position.
