How to Put Together an LG VC6300

The LG VC6300, manufactured by Karcher, is a compact vacuum that has an overall weight of seven pounds. The vacuum is a canister-style unit with an automatic cord rewind, tool set, suction power control, HEPA filter and rotating ring. Sold on the Internet and in home centers and department stores, the VC6300 vacuum is relatively easy to assemble and use. Note that only adults should assemble and operate the vacuum to reduce the risk of possible injury.

  Push the plastic end of the hose into the connector point at the base of the unit.

  Connect the plastic collar on the hose into the connecting point on the vacuum head, pushing the tabs and twisting clockwise slightly to secure.

  Set the now-connected wand upright until it clicks.

  Open the front access panel on the main canister. Connect the other end of the wand to the suction port, pushing the tabs in and twisting clockwise until it clicks.

  Open the battery compartment and position the batteries inside the compartment, lining up the "+" sign on the battery with the "+" sign in the battery compartment. Press each battery in firmly and close the compartment. The batteries will allow the vacuum to be used for a short time without being plugged into a power outlet.

  Connect the power cord to a power outlet before use.
