Instructions

    • 1

Visually examine the trash chute. Observe the chute from each floor to look for obstructions and remove any if necessary.

    • 2

Spray biodegradable enzyme cleaner on the walls of the chute. You can either do this by spraying the inside from each floor or by spraying a generous amount from the top floor and allowing it to run down the sides.

    • 3

Spray a degreaser on the walls of the chute. Allow chemicals to sit for 30 minutes.

    • 4

Using a high-powered hose, power wash the walls of the chute removing any dirt and grime residue along with the cleaning chemicals. Allow the chute to dry.

    • 5

Apply a deodorizer to the chute to improve the smell of the chute.
