How to Steam Clean for Pet Dander

Steam cleaning is a method of cleaning that can be used to clean hard surfaces throughout the home without the use of chemicals or other cleaning products. Hot water is heated to a temperature high enough to create steam and then dispensed onto the surface and cleaned with a sponge or a cloth.      Pour cold or room temperature water into the steam cleaner water reservoir and restore the tank on the unit.

     Plug the steam cleaner into a power supply and allow it to heat up, usually between two to three minutes.

     Dispense the steam onto any heat-resistant surface where pet dander is present.

     Use a cleaning sponge, microfiber pad or mop to wipe away the pet dander and any other dirt or debris from the surface.
