The Eureka Envirosteamer multi-purpose steam cleaner is a household tool designed to clean hard floor surfaces using steam. This type of cleaner does not use chemicals for cleaning, which may be appealing to those with concerns or sensitivities about chemicals. Instead, the unit heats water to create a steam that is distributed onto the floor surface and then mopped up. Instructions

  Set the base of the Envirosteamer on top of the included floor cloth and secure the edges over the base using the cloth clips.

  Remove the cap on the water tank and insert the included funnel. Pour 12 ounces of warm water into the tank and close the lid.

  Plug the steam cleaner into an electrical outlet and press the "Power" switch to turn it on. Wait about four minutes to allow the unit to heat up properly.

  Push the steam cleaner slowly over the floor surface to be cleaned. Hold the steamer over stubborn dirt spots for no more than 15 seconds.

  Turn off and unplug the steam cleaner when finished and allow the device to cool.

  Remove the floor cloth and rinse with cold water and let it air dry. Empty remaining water from the water tank, set the unit on the included "Cool Down" tray and store in a cool, dry location.
