Comparing Hoover Vacuum Cleaners

The original Hoover vacuum was developed by a nighttime janitor in 1907. Since that time, Hoover has designed many of the parts that are common in vacuums today, such as the disposable paper bag and side mounted hose. Vacuums are available for both commercial and residential use.
  1. Bagged or Bagless

    • Hoover vacuum cleaners are available in bagless or bagged versions. The bagless design removes dirt through a HEPA filter that traps dust, dirt and pollens. The bagged design has an allergen filter bag which can be disposed of when full. Both designs feature wind tunnel technology and come with added attachments for multiple uses.

    Canister Vacuum

    • The Hoover canister vacuum cleaner's motor is separate from the hose, creating an easy-to-maneuver product. Cleaning high places and tight corners are both easy with a canister model. This model comes in bagged or bagless styles.

    Small Jobs

    • For small jobs there is a Hoover hand vacuum that works well for cleaning areas that would be difficult with an upright or canister model. The hand held vacuum is not meant for large jobs but works well for minor spills and messes. This version is available as a wet/dry option as well.
