How to Clean Gas Furnace Burners

Gas furnaces use natural gas or propane gas to heat your home throughout the winter. The burners in a gas furnace release the gas so the pilot light can light it, thus heating your home. Over time, the burners get clogged with dust, lint and dirt. The clogs keep the burners from working well and can affect your household heating. Cleaning the burners at least once or twice a year will keep your gas furnace in working order.
