Compare Eureka Vacuums 4870D, 4870F & 4870DT

Eureka manufactures several types of upright vacuum cleaners, many of which are quite similar in design and function. This may make it somewhat more difficult for consumers to decide which vacuum cleaner is right for them, especially when so many vacuums are so much alike. It may help buyers to consider the vacuum cleaner specifics, such as the 4870D, 4870F and 4870DT units.
  1. Similarities

    • The Eureka 4870 series vacuum cleaner is an upright vacuum with a traditional bag. It also has a cord retainer, hose or floor selector, easy to latch bag cover, HEPA filter, brush roll control lever, set of tools and a cleaner height setting to choose what type of floor is being cleaned. These are all standard features on each of the 4870 vacuum cleaners.

    4870DT

    • The 4870DT has a 15-inch cleaning path and onboard tools that include an upholstery nozzle, crevice tool and dusting brush. 4870D

The unit weighs 25 pounds and is 15 by 44 by 12 inches and has indicator lights to inform users when the bag is full or the filter needs changing.
