How to Clean the Metal Surfaces With Soft Tissue

Faucets, shower doors and stainless steel sinks become dull and stained with constant use and require regular maintenance. You can put the gleam back into freshly cleaned metal surfaces by giving them a final polish with soft tissue, which will not scratch or damage the metal.

Things You'll Need

Instructions

    • 1

Pour dish soap onto a soft cloth and dampen it with water. Rub the soap over the metal surface in a circular motion.

    • 2

Spray stainless-steel polish onto the surface and rub it with a damp, non-abrasive sponge or cloth in a smooth circular motion.

    • 3

Rinse the surface with water until the stainless-steel polish and soap are thoroughly washed away.

    • 4

Dry the metal surface with soft tissues. Rub the tissues in a circular motion beginning at one end and working to the other. Replace wet tissues with fresh ones until the surface is throughly dry.
