Sprays deodorize all types of fabrics quickly, without the need for a washing machine or carpet cleaner vacuum -- making them ideal for upholstery or a quick odor removal task. To avoid harsh chemicals, use vinegar as a natural approach to clean stink from fabric.

     Add 8 oz. of a concentrated deodorizer to your washing machine to deodorize clothing. Mix 2 oz. into a gallon of carpet cleaning solution to deodorize carpet.

     Spray a store-bought fabric deodorizer product like Airzyme, Febreze or Neutra Air onto the fabric's surface to quell the odor.

     Pour 1 cup vinegar into a hot bathtub. Hang clothing or fabric above the tub and allow the vinegar-rich steam to deodorize the fabric.
