How to Clean the Heating Element in a Crock-Pot

Crock-Pots are kitchen appliances typically used for cooking meals slowly or keeping foods, like soups and hot dips, warm. While the basin of a Crock-Pot, which is typically made of porcelain or ceramic, is usually the part that gets the dirtiest, the heating element can become dirty as well. Take care when you clean your Crock-Pot heating element so you do not damage it.

    • 2

Remove the liner from the inside of the heating element of your Crock-Pot.

    • 3

Fill a bowl with warm water and dish soap and dip a clean cloth inside it.

Wipe down the Crock-Pot with a dry cloth to remove all the water.
