How to Attach Attachments to a Dyson Animal

Cleaning Wand

  Note the metal wand tucked away inside the flexible hose on the backside of the Dyson Animal. Lift the cap on the wand head.

  Extend the wand straight up to its full height. The wand "clicks" into place.

  Press the round end of the attachment firmly onto the tip of the wand.

Flexible Hose

  Raise the cap on the wand head. Extend the wand straight up until it "clicks."

  Detach the wand and flexible hose unit from the backside of the Dyson Animal.

  Locate the buttons at the bottom of the Dyson Animal wand handle. Depending on the model, look for one or two buttons. Press the button(s) and separate the wand handle from the flexible hose.

  Fit the round end of the attachment firmly onto the tip of the flexible hose.
