How to Care for a Ceran Glass Cooktop

Distinguished by their superior cooking performances, Ceran glass cooktops feature sleek aesthetics and state-of-the-art technology. Ceran glass cooktops are available in hundreds of designs and dozens of colors to make these stoves kitchen centerpieces. Although naturally attractive, Ceran cooktops inevitably accumulate food scraps and splatters, which appear grungy on the stoves. Failure to instantly wipe up food residue allows it to attach to glass cooktops and, if neglected for long periods, eventually become burnt on. Ceran cooktops require regular care to keep them clean and visually appealing.

Instructions

    • 1

Scrape excess food residue off the glass cooktop surface using a cooktop scraper. Remove the grime while the cooktop remains hot or warm to prevent the residue from cooling and sticking.

    • 2

Turn the Ceran cooktop off and let it thoroughly cool.

    • 3

Squirt glass cooktop cleaner onto the glass stove surface. Using a dishrag, rub the cleaner over the entire cooktop to lift remaining food residue.

    • 4

Dampen another dishrag with water. Wipe the loosened food residue and cooktop cleaner off the cooktop surface.

    • 5

Wipe the Ceran cooktop with a clean, dry towel.
