Instructions

    • 1

Soak the pan in hot water and use hot running water to help remove any excess and loose material that will come off easily. Keep the pan under hot running water for a few minutes to help loosen any hardened and scorched food. Empty the pan.

    • 2

Grab a handful of baking soda and drop it into the pan, covering the bottom and the areas of the pan where it is scorched or covered in burnt material.

    • 3

Fill the pan with water about halfway and place the pan on your stove, turning it to high until the mixture comes to a boil.

    • 4

Turn the heat to low once the baking soda and water mixture reaches a boil, allowing it to simmer slightly. Allow the mixture to simmer for 20 minutes, continuously watching and ensuring it does not spill over the pan.

    • 5

Remove the pan from the heat and allow it to cool with the baking soda and water mixture still inside. Once the pan is cooled to room temperature, rinse and scrub the pan as you would a normal dish, removing the scorched material without much effort.
