Cleaning and Removal Instructions for a Frigidaire Dishwasher Filter

Frigidaire dishwashers use a set of three filters to keep debris from passing into the drainage pipes. The filter assembly consists of three filters: the screen-like main filter on the dishwasher floor and two cylinder-shaped filters underneath. The filters are normally self-cleaning, but sometimes food and large objects can get trapped in the filter assembly. Clean the Frigidaire dishwasher filters anytime you notice unexplained bad odors or poor drainage after a wash cycle.
