How to Clean Calcium Deposits From a Fridge Tray

If you've noticed white, flaky residue beginning to accumulate on one or more trays inside your refrigerator, you may be dealing with calcium deposits. These deposits come from minerals in hard tap water. The secret to getting rid of calcium deposits is to use an acid-based cleaning product that will dissolve the minerals. One of the most gentle, most effective, and least expensive acid-based cleaners is white vinegar.
