Instructions

    • 1

Plug the Bissell ProHeat into a working power outlet and turn on the power switch on. Turn on the heater switch if the unit is not turning on or heating water as expected. Both the main power and the heat switches must be activated to turn on the “Heat Indicator” light.

    • 2

Fill the water tank with hot water if the spray is low or stops during cleaning. Refill the cleaning tank with formula and reseat both tanks on the ProHeat. Disconnect the power. Hold the spray trigger on the handle for 30 seconds with the power off and restore power.

    • 3

Disconnect power and turn the ProHeat over after stepping on the base pedal to lower the handle. Use a flat screwdriver to open the belt access door on the base of the unit and look at the belt. Replace the belt if the belt is broken or slips off the motor shaft when turned. Line up the slots on the belt access door with the slots on the machine to close the belt access door.

Set the “Ready Tools” dial to the “Tools” setting if the attachment hose or the tools do not suction as expected. Push the tool attachment onto the hose firmly for the best results.

    • 5

Clear a blockage from the attachment hose by filling a shallow pan with water, turning on the ProHeat and using the hose to suction up the clean water. Shake the hose firmly to help clear any obstructions. Turn off the ProHeat and let water drain from the hose.
