How to Clean the Coil of an Amana Refrigerator SXD26VW

The Amana SXD26VW provides a range of features to keep your food fresh and cold. In order to maintain ideal performance, the refrigerator's condenser coils require cleaning at least once every three months. Dust, pet hair and other airborne particles can accumulate on the coils and prevent heat emission, causing the refrigerator to work harder to cool the inside. Excessively dirty condenser coils can result in overheating or even compressor failure.
