How to Clean a Sub-Zero Refrigerator

Interior

  Remove all of the food from the refrigerator.

  Pull the drawers out until they stop and then lift the front slightly before pulling them forward and out of the refrigerator. Lift the shelves up on the front and then out of the tracks. Set the shelves and drawers aside until they reach room temperature before cleaning them.

  Submerge the shelves and drawers in a sink filled with warm water, a few drops of a mild liquid detergent and 2 tablespoons of baking soda. Soak the shelves and drawers while you clean the rest of the refrigerator.

  Fill a bucket with warm water, a few drops of a mild liquid detergent and 1 tablespoon of baking soda.

  Moisten a soft cloth or sponge with the solution in the bucket and wipe down the interior of the refrigerator until all of the grime and other residue is removed.

  Spray the interior with water from a spray bottle to rinse off the soap and baking soda. Dry the inside thoroughly with a soft cloth.

  Wash the shelves and drawers in the sink with a cloth or sponge. Rinse them well and dry them before placing them back into the refrigerator.

Exterior

  Squirt a few drops of a nonabrasive stainless steel cleaner on a lint-free cloth.

  Rub the cleaner on the door surface, working in the direction of the grain's finish. Apply more cleaner to the cloth as necessary.

  Polish the door with a dry cloth until it's streak-free and shiny.

Condenser

  Pull on the bottom edge of the grill and tilt it forward.

  Connect a soft bristle brush attachment to a vacuum.

• 13

  Vacuum the condenser with the attachment to remove dust and lint.

• 14

  Replace the condenser grill.
