How to Clean a Drip Tray on a Kenmore Refrigerator

Unplug the refrigerator and pull it as far away from the wall as possible. Putting the refrigerator on rollers or casters makes it easier to move and maintain.

Shine a flashlight under the refrigerator until you locate the drip tray. Move to the front of the refrigerator and locate the retaining clips that secure the drip tray to the space below the front door.

Set the drip tray aside for the moment by placing it in the sink. Vacuum the area under the refrigerator thoroughly to remove all the accumulated dust, lint and debris.

Run warm water over the drip tray to dislodge and dust and dirt. Continue to run water over the drip tray until it is clean. If the drip tray does not come clean with plain water you can use a non-abrasive cleanser as well.
