Getting Old Grease Off of a Stove Vent Hood

Though we may not even see it while cooking, grease splatters land on nearby surfaces. Stove vent hoods are conveniently located over the cooking area and are often a prime landing spot for grease. Over time, as the grease goes unnoticed, more layers of it combined with dust particles accumulate into thick, stubborn layers, making the stove vent hood appear dull and dingy. Restore the shine by cutting through the grease quickly with a few things you may already have in your kitchen.
