Turn off and unplug the humidifier.
Lift the water tank off of the humidifier base. Open the cap by turning it in a counter-clockwise motion.
Empty any water from the sink into the tank.
Lift the power pack out of the humidifier base. Press and hold the three tabs to remove the funnel pump from the humidifier. Remove the pump cap by turning it counter-clockwise.
Lift the upper reservoir and atomizer out the of the lower reservoir base.
Fill a 2 or 3 gallon bucket with 1 gallon of warm water and 1 cup of white vinegar.
Place the upper reservoir, funnel pump, pump cap and atomizer in the bucket and allow them to soak for 30 minutes.
Fill the water tank with 1 gallon of warm water and 1 cup of white vinegar. Replace the cap and shake the tank to loosen any debris or scale.
Empty the water from the tank and rinse it thoroughly with cool water. Shake out any excess water from the tank.
Remove the items from the bucket and rinse them thoroughly with cool water. Use a damp sponge to wipe away any residue and dry the components thoroughly with a towel.
Wipe the power pack with a damp cloth to remove any residue.
Reassemble the humidifier. Slide the power pack into place on the upper reservoir. Make sure the prongs line up and the tabs snap into place. Set the upper reservoir into the lower reservoir base and place the water tank on top of the power pack.
